Service Description
An immersive international music and cultural experience programme for motivated young ages, redefining music beyond performance skills through culture, history, creativity, and human connection. This is not simply a performance course. ORTE’s Inspire Performance Pathway offers selected young musicians direct access to world-class artists, institutions, craftsmanship, and cultural environments in London. Participants will experience music not only through performance, but through dialogue, sensory exploration, international exchange, and real cultural immersion. [ Programme Highlights ] All experiences are specially curated for ORTE and are not available through public programmes. • International Masterclasses Piano: Eri Yamamoto (International Pianist, E Y Piano Institue Director) • Workshop experience at the Steinway London Piano • Workshop experience at Royal Academy of Music Strings • Royal Albert Hall backstage tour & Proms rehearsal observation • Royal College of Music Museum Lecture Tour - Exploring music history through historical instruments • Taste × Sound sensory workshop - in collaboration with leading UK pastry professional • NEXTONE Workshop • Discussion session with West End artists & international performers “Pursuing Dreams Through the Arts” • Performance at the ORTE Closing Concert • International cultural exchange with fellow participants and more.. [ ORTE Young Ambassador Programme ] Participants of the programme will become eligible to join future ORTE Japan Share Programmes as: “ORTE Young Ambassadors” [ Daily Meals Included ] ・The Rice Boy (Japanese cuisine) ・The Cedar Restaurant (Lebanese cuisine) ・Gail’s Bakery [ Application Requirements ] Applicants must submit: • One performance video (free repertoire & duration) • Musical background information A short online video interview with the ORTE Director may be required as part of the application process. (Parents/guardians are welcome to join) [ Programme Fee ] £750 (Includes workshops, programme activities, meals, and concert participation) ・A £50 non-refundable application fee is required upon submission and will be deducted from the total fee. * Friend Referral Scheme Both the referrer and referred participant receive a £50 discount. [ ORTE Young Musician Award ] Partial or full scholarships may be awarded to highly motivated applicants. Important Policies / Terms • The £50 application fee is non-refundable under any circumstances. • Successful applicants must confirm participation and complete payment of the remaining programme fee within 3 days of receiving the offer. Failure to do so may result in the place being offered to an applicant on the waiting list. • Programme fees are non-refundable once participation has been confirmed, except in cases of force majeure or significant international disruption. • ORTE does not arrange or take responsibility for international travel, accommodation, visas, insurance, or related matters. • Participants and guardians are responsible for ensuring appropriate travel arrangements and supervision outside programme hours. • By participating in the programme, participants and guardians consent to the use of photographs and video recordings for ORTE’s educational and promotional purposes unless otherwise requested in writing. • ORTE reserves the right to make reasonable changes to programme content, faculty, schedule, or venues if necessary. • Please review ORTE’s Safeguarding Policy available at the bottom of our website before applying.
